I’m fully aware that symbolism in films couldn’t be more out of style. But see if I care! Young people have lost the ability to read allegories and this is a huge loss. This means that the language of the subconscious is being destroyed. Our ability to know our shadow is being destroyed. By no means should we let that happen.
