Silvan Furlan's open-air summer cinema in Nova Gorica

The cooperation between the festivals Tribute to a Vision and Kino Otok brings to the 11th edition of Silvan Furlan's Annual Open-Air Summer Cinema the film Gigi the Law, which received a special prize from the jury in Locarno in 2022. The traditional film evenings under the stars will take place in Nova Gorica between July 27 and August 4 at 21:00 on Silvan Furlan's Platform, and the feature film by director Alessandro Comodin will be shown on the third of August.

Gigi is a charismatic, dedicated cop in a sleepy rural town in Friuli. When an unexplained suicide occurs, he begins to control the lives of his compatriots even more devotedly... A witty and authentically intimate portrait of a man closely connected to his environment, it slips elusively between documentary and fiction, between reality and fantasy.
