Synopsis:

5 Hour Conversation explores a blind person's view of the world from their own perspective. The shortwas made based on an interview with Tommy Edison (blind since birth). How do blind people make newfriends? How do they live their day today life? What characteristics do they sense in other people? Whatcan we learn from people like Tommy Edison? Turns out, a lot.

Biography:

Katarina Blažič, born in 1994, first completed the Art High School in Nova Gorica. Her interest in photography brought her to the Srečko Kosovel School Center in Sežana. In 2016 she continued her education in Barcelona (Spain) at the Elisava University (School of Design and Engineering) where she enrolled in a postgraduate degree in design (Postgraduate studies in Publishing Projects and Editorial Design). After finishing the University in Barcelona she enrolled in School of Arts University of Nova Gorica to study animation. The submitted short animation is her diploma thesis project that she has been working on for the last two years. She currently works as an Art director in an advertising agency called Evil Love in Barcelona.
